myLot private messaging allows you to communicate privately and securely with your myLot friends. myLot private messaging is 100% spam free, meaning you do not have to worry about being contacted by individuals that you don’t want to be contacted by.

You choose who you want to receive messages from! If a user that you have added to your friends list turns out to be undesirable or a spammer, simply remove them from your list. If you’d like to communicate with a myLot user who currently is not on your friends list, you can request the as a friend.

We recommend that you use myLot private messaging for communicating with your friends for topics that you want to keep private. Find out what your friends are doing tonight or make plans to see a movie together! In general you can discuss topics that are not suited for the myLot community.

Creating a myLot private message is simple. You can go to your friends’ page and click on the “send message” link next to the friend you want to communicate with or just select the “messages” link and compose a new message.

myLot private messaging has loads of great features. You can separately view unread messages, messages you have created, and messages you have received.

Your myLot private messaging account is created for you upon signing up. There is nothing further to do other than use the system and have fun!
